For this project, I directed a high-impact 60-second hero spot for the Kuat Piston hitch rack, designed to showcase its premium build and rugged performance. The primary objective was to demonstrate the rack’s ability to withstand intense off-road abuse while highlighting its standout technical features—specifically the integrated LED brake lights, the intuitive foot-activated pivot lever, backup ratcheting locks, and tool-free wheel size adjustments.
To match the "go-anywhere" spirit of the product, I crafted a high-energy, visual-driven edit that leans heavily into immersive sound design and rhythmic, intentional cuts. By synchronizing the mechanical precision of the rack’s features with a fast-paced narrative, the final piece propels the viewer through the action, proving that the Piston is as much a piece of high-performance gear as the bikes it carries.
